Saxophonist Billy Cofrances

Billy Cofrances began playing sax at a young age. Raised by two professional jazz artists, “Rainy Day” Cofrances and Billy Cofrances Sr, Jazz is in Billy’s blood. Billy started his career as a member of the popular east coast favorite Jump Street. Since then, Billy and his Selma Mark IV tenor and alto saxophones have been thrilling audiences all throughout New England; working with some of the best in the business including legendary jazz pianist Sarah Cion, jazz vocalists Billy Weston and Giacomo Gates, the lead singer with the Tommy Dorsey Big Band Walt Andrus, and the great saxman Tony Lavorgna.
